Requirements
Final System Requirements
This document will contain the final required amended changes of the requirements for the proposed Gohvan Construction system. It will contain the amended requirements list and use case description for each subsystem and their corresponding use cases. This document is signoff by the client and course coordinator that states that they agree and approve the amended changes.
Deliverable 01
Project Proposal
Deliverable 1 represents the proposed system solution that Paralinear Solutions will provide and build for Gohvan Construction to streamline the business process and project life cycles. Deliverable 1 indicates the analyses and in-depth research gone into understanding Gohvan Construction and their existing system currently in place, as well as the history and organisational structure of the company. Thus, it will include a project request, preliminary investigation, problem analysis, functional requirement analysis and feasibility/decision analysis on other existing systems that can be beneficial to implement instead of the Paralinear solutions system proposed.
Deliverable 02
Functional Specification
This document follows on the sign-off functional requirements listed in the previous deliverable by expanding and explaining them through use case diagrams, use case narratives, data flow diagrams as well as activity diagrams. The document also contains an entity relationship model which explains how all the relevant entities in the system connect with one another and what attributes they contain. Finally, the document contains inputs, outputs and validation of the functional requirements diagrams that help explain the flows.
Deliverable 04
Technical Design and Test Specification
This document follows on the signed-off functional requirements listed in the previous deliverable by expanding and explaining them through use case diagrams, use case narratives, and technical data flow diagrams. The document also contains an entity relationship model which explains how all the relevant entities in the system connect with one another and what attributes they contain. This deliverable also explains the hardware, software and network layout to help implement the proposed system. Finally, the document contains inputs, outputs and validation of the functional requirements diagrams that help explain the flows and describe the overall layout and presentation of the system.
Deliverable 05
Internally Tested System
In this deliverable the Paralinear team strives to develop a woking system which has been tested internally by the project team. The developed system should meet the requirements of previous deliverables namely the System Requirements, Functional Specification, Prototype and Technical Specification Deliverables.
Deliverable 06
System Documentation
In this deliverable we aim to ensure that all the system documentation (from Deliverable 00 up until Deliverable 04) is up to date, reconciled and complete. Deliverable 06 contains the System Requirements signed off by our client and the INF 370 module coordinator. This deliverable consists of the Final Validation of Requirements, a CRUD Matrix, Conversion Plan, Complexity Matrix , Project Related Issues as well as the Client and Team Sign off of the deliverable.
Deliverable 08
Tested System
In this deliverable, we aim to provide a complete final working system that has been tested by the Project Team, Lecturers and External Moderators. The System must be validated against the System Requirements, Functional Specification, Prototype and Technical Specification Deliverables.
Deliverable 09
User Documentation
In this deliverable, we aim to provide a User Documentation what will include the following; A Change Request Procedure to be followed when alterations need to be made to the system, User Manual which describes the system's functionality in detail, Training Manual that will help to train the new users of the system and a Brochure describing the project and the system.
Deliverable 10
Project Day
In this deliverable, we will be presenting our final system and documentation to invited industry persons, university lecturers, parents and clients.
